WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

➳ Share this link with anyone helping you host or set up (i.e. day planner, caterer).
➳ Relay all relevant information/rules to your guests. We have made this welcome link for your guests to help them find the space, parking, wifi and basic rules. Please do share with them!

➳ Please be on time for any walkthroughs or check ins, plan for weekend traffic, and let us know immediately if you are running late, so we can move things around if needed (Saturday’s are the most busy for us, so please consider our time).
➳ Text first to schedule a call with us, unless it is the day of your event (in which case call us anytime you need).
➳ Please do not share our contact information with anyone collaborating with your event without our consent.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR HOSTS
Our communication lines are open daily from 10am - 8pm. Please note that there may be a delay in our response time on the weekends as we prioritize the current events in the space. That being said, our availability to you on the day of your event is our highest priority. Please don’t hesitate to call/text with any last minute concerns at any time.
➳ Check In
Someone from our team will be on site to walk you through the space when you arrive. Please wait to unload your items into the space until this walkthrough happens.
If you plan to have your guests arrive before you, or have someone else handle check in / check out, special arrangements need to be made IN ADVANCE.
We do not plan to be present during your reservation, but will be available by telephone and able to return to the space if needed.
We do not accept deliveries on behalf of any clients. Please plan all deliveries to arrive within your booking time frame or have them delivered elsewhere and brought in.
➳ Check Out
Please be ready for walkthrough and lock up at the end of your booking time. A fee of $250 will be charged if you are not checked out on time, and an additional $250 will be charged every 30 minutes that the space is still occupied by you or your guests.
We ask that you please respect our neighbors and not hang around outside the space with loud voices at the end of your reservation. Please keep your voices down and help encourage your guests to move on.
If you have booked 5 hours or more, you are probably aware that we provide you with a 30 minute grace period for clean up (subject to availability). Anyone left in the space at this time should be participating in clean up, or is expected to leave. If you think you may need more than 30 minutes to clean up, please book more time, or plan your event to end earlier.
On the contrary, if you find yourself ending before that grace period, please let us know so we can be there for the final walkthrough. Please DO NOT leave the space before someone arrives for check-out inspection.
➳ Site Visits
We offer one complimentary site visit to the space before your event. We do ask that you consolidate everyone who needs to see the space into these two visits, and if possible into one visit. Additional site visits are usually not needed as we will also provide video walkthroughs and floor plans.
Most of the tables and chairs shown in the photos are included. If you are booking well in advance, please confirm with us if there have been any updates/changes.
➳ Planning Support
We will do our best to provide helpful tips for planning your event. Beyond the site visits and this document, you can view our instagram page where you might find photos from other events in the space. Make sure to look up #Rosa1069 for this location. We have also compiled a list of caterers, florists, musicians and more that we highly recommend in the link below.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE SPACE
➳ Parking
If you are driving in and want to unload, you can probably get away with double parking for a short period right out front (if there are no spots available of course). Please be careful! Bedford Ave is a very busy, fast traffic street. Follow the signs to find street parking nearby. Sundays all street parking is free. There are some garages in the neighborhood, but we have found it difficult to reserve spots with them advance. Spot Angels is a great tool to find parking in the area.
➳ Wifi
There are several ways you can connect to the wifi. The QR code works flawlessly if using a smartphone. We find for tablets or computers to try options 2 or 3.

➳ Food & Beverage Equipment
We do not have the proper bar or food prep area that you would expect to find in a catering hall. Please bring anything you might need to make your vision come to life including (but not limited to): extra tables and chairs, cutting board, knife, bottle opener, cups, ice, etc. We recommend that you do not make a complicated cocktail menu that involves a shaker for each drink. Pre-batching cocktails works great here. Please feel free to share with Danielle your menu ideas and she will give you the best advice for logistical setup.
➳ Formal Seated Dinner v Self Serve Buffet
For any parties of 20 or more, we recommend you do a self serve buffet if you are having food. If you bring in the right tables and chairs, you can fit up to 20 people comfortably seated (potentially a little more if you want to squeeze). Let us know your plan so we can give any helpful tips we might have.

ROSA HOUSE RULES
No Smoking Inside
NO USE OF CANDLES.
ABSOLUTELY NO GLITTER OR CONFETTI.
⟣ Any glitter or confetti may result in a $250-$500 cleaning fee. ⟣
All decorations brought in must be removed and taken out or thrown away.
⎊ Music/Sound
Any sound equipment brought in must be approved by us. We can otherwise rent our sound system listed above!
Music volume must remain at a fair volume that will not disturb the neighborhood. All music must be off when your reservation is complete.
⎊ Guests ⎊
All guests must leave when your reservation is complete, unless they are participating in the clean up. It is 100% your responsibility to relay all rules and information about the space to your guests. Please share our guest link, it is super helpful for everyone!
⎊ Food & Alcohol ⎊
Consumption of alcohol is permitted if all guests are 21+. NO excessive drinking! If you are excessively intoxicated, you may be asked to leave. If you wish to sell alcohol, you would need to obtain a permit from the city. Outside food & beverage catering is permitted at no extra charge.
⎊ Garbage ⎊
We will provide plenty of garbage and recycling bags & bins. When your garbage is full, please dispose of it in the designated area. Please try to recycle and most importantly break down any boxes left behind.
An extra cleaning fee of $60 will be charged if food, plates, cups, etc. are not thrown out, and boxes are not broken down and put in the designated area. Please place all garbage in the garbage, and we will take care of the rest.
